Knauf Performance+ products are now both Asthma & Allergy Friendly Certified and Verified Healthier Air, marking the first full line of fiberglass insulation to achieve these certifications. Currently, Knauf is the only insulation manufacturer with products that are Asthma & Allergy Friendly Certified and Verified Healthier Air. The Certification Program, established by the AAFA and Allergy Standards Limited (ASL), involves extensive physical and chemical testing to ensure products reduce allergen exposure and limit pollutants in indoor environments. Knauf's residential Performance+ insulation products meet the following criteria: 1) Formaldehyde-free binder, 2) Extremely low dust levels present post-installation and 3) Extremely low VOC emissions at 24 hours and 14 days post-installation. Knauf ECOBATT products feature legendary handling, cut easily and cleanly, recover quickly, are less dusty and install easily enough for a professional or DIY'er.
