What is one thing about you that many people do not know? I am really proud of the work on do. As it relates to Blaisdell’s, I take pride in providing our customers with great service, not just packages delivered to their door. I also take pride in my day-to-day tasks and always give 100% with everything I do.
What is your favorite hobby? I have several hobbies that occupy my free time. In the warmer months, I enjoy bicycling and hiking. I also like to cook, learn new recipes, and challenge my mind to a game of chess.
What is your favorite holiday tradition? It’s a simple one, inviting the whole family over for dinner! Unfortunately with the restrictions this year, that won’t be possible but something to look forward to next year.
If you could play one instrument, what would it be? I would like to play the piano.
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what 3 items would you take and why? I would bring a solar powered torch, a magnifiying glass, and a swiss army knife. These basic tools would be useful and allow me to be efficient in creating and producing other elements needed for survival.
How do you like your coffee? Black
If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be and why? I got everything I wanted out of this life…. a beautiful wife, 6 children, and 3 grandchildren. I couldn’t be happier to be where I’m at and I wouldn’t look back to change a thing.
Do you have a favorite charity you wish more people knew about? The Imran Khan Cancer Center is Pakistan. Did you know they give free treatment to over 80% of the patients there?
What do you find most difficult about the COVID-19 shutdown? No school for kids, or rather, no education in an institution. We are finding this very challenging for our kids and grandkids. Remote education doesn’t seem to provide the same sense of fulfillment that we hoped for. We look forward to seeing the schools reopening again soon.

What is something you want to do next year that you’ve never done before? The Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, the holiest city of Muslims. The Hajj is a mandatory religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime and I feel like now is that time for me.
