What is one thing about you that many people do not know? I’m an open book, I don’t hide too much so most people know just about everything about me.

What is your favorite hobby? My favorite hobby is fishing, particularly bass fishing. It all started when I was about 4 years old and I’ve been doing it almost every weekend since. I’m a kayak angler. My favorite place to fish is on the California Delta.

What is your favorite restaurant? The Gypsies in Berkeley is my favorite restaurant. It’s a gourmet Italian restaurant. I usually order a dish called The GodFather.

Any travel plans for the rest of 2021? I plan to visit different parts of California and fish different areas. I’m ready to get out of my comfort zone after being cooped up during COVID and I’m excited to see what’s in store for me.

Who is your favorite customer along your delivery route and why? My favorite customer is LaJoyce from Ghirardelli’s San Leandro corporate headquarters. She is someone I can always talk to and we talk about real life things. She’s an uplifting person always providing positive words and encouragement. She has given me a lot of good life guidance and advice.

How do you like your coffee? I’m not an everyday coffee drinker. Starbucks Veranda blend with 2 creamers and 2 sugars when I do decide to have a cup.

What do you find most difficult about the COVID-19 shutdown? It definitely was hard to transition into and get use to. Financially it paid a toll on many people including those close to me.

Do you have any pets? I have aquarium fish, just about a dozen tropical fish. I just got back into it. I use to have fish tank when I was younger and have been going with this for about a year now.

If you could be an office supply, which one would you be and why? I would choose to be a permanent marker because they’re bold, they leave a lasting impression, and are usually utilized for important duties.
